Lubaga South Stands Tall: A Rally of Courage, Unity, and Unstoppable Energy

ree

Today, Lubaga South wrote its own chapter in Kampala’s political history. What began as a wet, rainy afternoon quickly transformed into one of the most powerful demonstrations of people-driven energy this campaign has ever witnessed. Despite the downpour, residents poured into the streets with unmatched determination, proving once again that nothing can weaken a community that is hungry for change.

From the early hours, boda riders, youth groups, mothers with their children, and elders from every corner of the division gathered, united by one purpose: to stand with Beatrice Mao and demand a Kampala that finally listens to its people.

The rain did not slow them down — it ignited them. Drums played louder, chants rose higher, and the crowd grew stronger by the minute.

Lubaga South made one thing clear: this city is ready to rise.

A Rally Powered by the People

The roads of Lubaga South came alive as the campaign convoy snaked through zones and villages, welcomed by cheers, raised flags, and residents stepping out of shops and homes just to show their support. Young people spoke boldly about their frustrations with the current state of Kampala — flooding, broken systems, unemployment — and their belief that Beatrice Mao represents a new kind of leadership: disciplined, accountable, and focused on performance.

For many, this rally wasn’t just an event. It was a declaration of hope.

A reminder that Kampala belongs to its people — and the people are ready to claim their say.

UK Guests Join the Ground Movement

A special highlight of the day was the presence of our guests from the United Kingdom, who joined the rally and experienced firsthand the passion that Lubaga South carries. They stood on the campaign stage, felt the pulse of the community, and witnessed a level of unity and excitement that cannot be explained — only felt.

Their reflections were powerful: admiration for the warmth of Ugandans, respect for the courage of Lubaga South, and deep appreciation for the vision behind this campaign. Their presence added a global perspective and reinforced that Kampala’s transformation is not just a local conversation — it’s attracting international attention and goodwill.

A Movement Growing Faster Than Rainfall

Even as the skies opened, the people stood firm.

Even as the streets filled, their voices grew louder.

Lubaga South showed the city — and the country — that no amount of rain can wash away a demand for progress.

This rally marks another milestone as we move closer to a Kampala built on efficiency, dignity, and systems that finally work. Today was not just a political activity. It was a signal.

Lubaga South has chosen direction.

Lubaga South has chosen courage.

Lubaga South is ready for the next level.

And so is Kampala.
